Michael Duke is a large loss estimator for UDK Solutions , a leading general contractor specializing in the reconstruction of commercial and residential properties damaged by water, fire or other destructive forces.
Mr. Duke joined Utah Disaster Kleenup (UDK) in 1991 as a northern Utah estimator. Since then, he has added the title of Large Loss Estimator to his hat as well. He estimates and oversees large loss proj ects that come through the Intermountain Construction & Recovery Alliance and Utah Disaster Kleenup . Mr. Duke has been involved in over a hundred high profile losses resulting in millions of dollars in mitigation and restorative work. He has completed fire restoration projects at Westminster College, the University of Utah, Utah State University, and Brigham Young University to name just a few. Mr. Duke also has a great deal of experience with large commercial water damage projects where time play ed a critical role in the overall success of the project. His ability to coordinate and facilitate restoration efforts in a timely manner has saved insurance companies and commercial organizations millions of dollars each year. Mr. Duke also provides professional consulting on complex commercial and residential projects and has been retained as expert witness on numerous legal cases.
Mr. Duke has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Weber State University and a Masters degree from the Montery Institute of International Studies. Mr. Duke earned his Certified Restorer (C.R.) status in 1998 through the Association of Cleaning and Restoration , and graduated top in his class. In December 2001, the American Indoor Air Quality Council (IAQA) awarded him the Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor (CMRS) designation, and in March 2002 (IAQA) awarded him the Certified Mold Remediator (CMR) designation. Mr. Duke is also certified in the nationwide trend of advanced drying techniques taught at the Dewald Drying Institute , Morristown, Tennessee. |
