The Emergency Response Priority Program (ERPP)

Utah Disaster Kleenup (UDK) understands that time is money when it comes to business. Every hour that a business is down represents lost revenue.  For that reason, UDK developed the Emergency Response Priority Program (ERPP). This program is designed for and offered to commercial entities of all sizes, as well as commercial property owners and managers.

The program is free for qualified participants and offers several benefits. The most significant benefit is that the “Priority Customer” receives preferential treatment over those that are not on the program.

For example, in the winter months when UDK is busy responding to problems with frozen pipes, they may receive as many as 40 to 100 calls in a day for emergency mitigation services.  UDK crews will handle as many service calls as possible and the balance of the customer requests will be placed on a waiting list or queue until the next available crew can be dispatched.  If a “Priority Customer” calls during the same period, they will be placed at the top of the list or queue regardless of the order the call comes in, for the next available service unit and crew.

In addition to this time-saving benefit, “Priority Customers” receive other benefits as well.

  • The client goes through a pre-approval process and facility tours are organized and completed.
  • From these tours critical information is collected and placed in a secure database and stored to help minimize business interruption should and incident occur.
  • Unique information that is collected includes building locations, insurance and billing information, special instructions, emergency equipment needs, phone numbers and contact information, and any additional information that us unique that will assist in mitigating as quickly as possible.
  • Additional benefits also include a dedicated toll free phone number and a live operator 24/7 to handle calls 365 days a year.

UDK also provides priority customers with identification cards they can retain in their wallets or purses, etc. The card has a dedicated toll-free phone number and the customer’s priority access code. When a property loss occurs, the client calls the dedicated line and tells the emergency operator that they are a “Priority Customer” and gives the operator their priority access code. The operator passes the information on to dispatch and UDK is able to access and lookup the customer’s information and respond quickly to the loss with the appropriate equipment and man power.

This is a free service with no cost to join or obligation for the client to use UDK and its services. However, the Emergency Response Priority Program provides peace of mind and the assurance that you are covered should an incident occur.
